Gifts for Scouts and Leaders

Gifts for Scouts and Leaders

Looking for last minute holiday gifts for the Scout or Leader in your life?

We put together two lists to help you out. Some of the items have notes, just hover over the comment bubble to read them.

Leaders Love These This list has some nice to haves for the leaders in your life, a wagon and table for cookie sales, the most comfy camp chair I have ever experienced.

Scout Gear and Gifts Whether it’s backpacking, trekking or summer camp, we put together a few must-have and fun-to-have ideas for Scouts.

Click the links above for the full lists or read on below for a few highlights.

This Weanas tent is a Scout favorite.  Easy to set up, roomy and lightweight, this tent has a nice little front porch area to keep your shoes dry and out of your tent.  The first time we used it was during a week of Scout camp, these tents kept us dry through rain every single afternoon and a heavy downpour one evening.  We’ve used them many times since.  They are currently 20% making this even better.

Another leader brought 2 of these Coleman stacking water coolers on a recent camping trip.  They were so fantastic I asked Santa for a set. Scouts filled them and carried them quite easily.  They stacked nicely and stayed out of the way. These are available in red or blue – with one of each you could mix up Gatorade in one and be able to tell them apart.

Our eldest Scout received The Lost Art of Reading Nature Signs last year.  They took to it slowly, but found it fascinating and kept going back to it to read more.  The author, Tristan Gooley, has several books on natural navigation and reading nature.
